What Is The "Compass System"?
The "Compass" is a system that takes a lot of the "guesswork" out of figuring out what nutrients your body needs. It in essence "asks" your body what it needs and receives the appropriate "answers".
The Compass System consists of a "Hand Cradle" connected to a computer.
It is very important to understand that the Compass is NOT a medical device.
What Happens Before The Scan?
Prior to undergoing a Compass "Biomarker" scan or "assessment", information on you is requested and entered into the Compass database. This will not only correctly identify you for the first or "baseline" scan along with the results of the scan, it will also be helpful in comparing the results of future "follow-up" scans with the first "baseline" scan.
What Happens During The Scan?
After the data is entered, you will be asked to place your hand on the "hand cradle", the actual device through which the scan is performed.
The scan should only take a few minutes. A video will play on the computer screen that will explain more to you about how the Compass system works.
What Are "Biomarkers"?
Minute amounts of electrical activity are present throughout your body, including your skin. These electrical impluses are constantly changing. This electrical activity in your skin is what the hand cradle measures.
During the scan, the hand cradle sends signals as stimuli into your skin. These signals are digital "signatures" or "biomarkers" that corrospond to various nutritional and other products. The skin's electrical responses to these signals are measured and analyzed using the Compass System's Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) technology. There is a unique GSR response for each product's unique "biomarker".
One way to understand this process is to consider how weather radar works. The radar antenna sends out signals and receives the "reflections" or "returns" from those signals. It looks for "signatures" -- recognized patterns -- of various weather phenomena including rain, snow, etc. The radar screen results are then viewed and interpreted by the weather forecaster.
By sending the signals into the skin and analyzing the received responses, the Compass system is asking the body "Do you have enough of this or that? If you don't have enough, how much do you need?"
What Do The Scan Results Show?
The results of the Compass scan are posted on the computer screen following the scan. The information shown are the products that were scanned for whose "biomarkers" are not present in a suficient quanity in your body. Not only does the top of the report show the total number of "biomarkers" that are below the recommended quantity, but the various sections of the report "break down" this total to show the exact number of biomarkers needed for each category or product.
What If A Large Number Of Biomarker Shortfalls Are Shown? Does That Mean That I Need To Spend A Lot Of Money And Buy A Lot Of Products?
Not necessarily. Since many products have benefits similar to other products, one approach in deciding what you need is to focus on the category or product for which the greatest "shortfall" is shown. This would represent your greatest nutritional need. Then, as your budget allows, you can decide on other products to purchase based on the results of the scan as you wish.
How Much Does A Compass Biomarker Scan Cost?
The fee for a Compass "Biomarker" Scan is $ 35.00.
How Do I Request A Scan?
You can send an email to SWANSON7409_M@MSN.COM. You will then be contacted and arrangements for the scan will be made.
