As we prepare to conclude this "Wheelchairs" section with the "Challenges Faced By Wheelchair Users....." discussion on the next page, we will here end our discussion of the differing wheelchair types by mentioning that the scooter type wheelchair is the ideal "test wheelchair" because it has the largest turning radius, requires the most manuevering room, and occupies the most space generally speaking of all the wheelchair types.
Logically, as the other wheelchair types generally do not need as much apace or manuevering room as does the scooter type wheelchair, any situation more often than not that works for a user of the scooter type wheelchair will work for the other wheelchair types as well.
Therefore, throughout the remainder of this "Can We Use This Stop -- The Slide Show", the scooter type wheelchair will be the type used for evaluating transit vehicles, bus stops and other boarding and disembarking locations, and so on.
